BEDI is about to go live
It is about time for an album produced by BEDI. After all, he has been bouncing around the music business for over 10 years now. The music producer released mixtapes with other producers before picking up the mixer on his own in 2012. So, after several years of build-up, there's plenty of buzz and anticipation for his own debut-album - and BEDI seems up for that challenge. He hardly leaves the studio these days and even when he is not in the creative halls of the BBnZ Live Studios, you will always find him with his Monster Beats by DRE studio headphones on. His album is going to be a colourful mix ranging from azonto to hip-hop, R&B up until House and Dancehall. Updates regarding his album and especially which hot Ghanaian artists are going to be featured on it will be available in this section. We’re about to go LIVE.
Baffour Kwame Asare-Bediako a.k.a Bedi is a music producer who is rooted in various genres of music. He was born on 11th December 1982 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Spending his childhood in Europe will always give his music an international influence.
After moving to Ghana in 1992, the passion for the local music inspired him to pursue a profession in the music industry. With the help of the music producer Beatmenace Bedi gained his first experiences in working in a music studio. Although never losing focus of his dream of being a producer, he followed the wish of his parents and graduated at the N.I.I.T University with a Bachelor of Science in computer science and e-commerce.
Throughout his 3-year long membership of the producer team BBX, he perfected his producing skills, and even released his first mix tape "the force."
Taking his career to the next level he joined the BBnZ Live team in 2011 and he is working on his first producer album, which will be released in spring 2012.
His mentors in the music biz are Timbaland, Neptunes, Kanye West and the late J.dilla. Bringing the old school to new school, inventing new music, Bedi produces for hip-hop, R&B, House, Jazz, Soul, Rock, and Dancehall.
